Spokesperson Training for Climate Action!

Behind every successful activist demonstration is a team of committed volunteers working to raise visibility and awareness - and few roles are as important on the day than the Spokesperson!

Spokespeople greet journalists onsite during protests, give quotes to the press about XR's demands, and make sure that photographers are capturing the events of the day for the media. This is a great role for folks with the gift of gab who can keep a cool head during intense situations.

We want to train YOU to be a spokesperson! During this interactive 90-minute online workshop, we'll review talking points for Extinction Rebellion actions and practice doing interviews with the press. By the end, you'll be prepared to be a Spokesperson for an XR Boston event!
