[SOLIDARITY] MLK Day of Service - w/ Meetup at Life Alive Beforehand

Monday, Jan 19

You are warmly invited to join XR rebels and your Cambridge neighbors to lend your helping hands in a variety of hands-on projects to honor Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, January 19.

We will gather at 1pm at Life Alive for a pre-event socializing. Grab a bite or a beverage and look for us downstairs!

We will then proceed to the Welcome Gathering at Central Square Church at 2pm. At 2:30pm we will go to the Senior Center to help with hands-on service projects that include making blankets and scarves for people in need, sorting donations, and learning about racial justice and equity.

If you are able, please bring non-perishable food, gently used winter clothing, children’s books or new warm socks to donate.

Find more information about the 2026 Cambridge MLK Day of Service and Learning here.

Please RSVP on this XR web page and we'll let the organizers know we're coming!
