 day July 15\, Extinction Rebellion Boston will lead an action demanding th
 at our government invest our taxes in our future! \n\nThe federal governme
 nt must stop giving tax breaks and subsidies to the oil\, natural gas\, an
 d coal corporations that are fueling global destruction.  We demand that t
 hese funds are redirected to individuals and communities on the frontline 
 of the climate and ecological emergency and toward a rapid transition to c
 lean\, renewable sources of energy and ecological sustainability.  \n\nOur
  government must tell the truth about the severity of the climate crisis a
 nd establish reparations and remediation led by and for Black people\, Ind
 igenous people\, People of Color and poor communities who have suffered ye
 ars of environmental racism and injustice. Our current financial and polit
 ical systems treat the earth as a commodity and people as disposable.\n\nT
 he wealthy must pay higher taxes and our government budgets must be reallo
 cated to build cultures of care and repair to ensure an equitable and liva
 ble planet for all life and for generations to come.\n\nWe are calling on 
 XR Rebels to participate if you feel comfortable and safe enough to do so.
   We will practice social distancing\, wear masks and use hand sanitizer. 
 We will not engage in civil disobedience\, but we are planning a lively an
 d vibrant day\, with some special surprises. \n\nTogether we will demand p
 ower be restored to the people to set a just course of action and rebuild 
 our relationships to one another and the earth.  \n\nJoin us on Wednesday\
 , July 15 at 5pm! The action is at the **Federal Reserve\, 600 Atlantic Av
 enue\, Boston\, MA 02210  -->Please bring your own signs.  We will have ba
 nners and some signs\, but since our art group isn't meeting in person at 
 this time we are asking folks to make their own.  Some possible messaging 
 is below.  We also hope to have a print-at-home sign that we can email you

 tion that prioritizes the most vulnerable people and indigenous sovereignt
 y\; establishes reparations and remediation led by and for Black people\, 
 Indigenous people\, people of color and poor communities for years of envi
 ronmental injustice\, establishes legal rights for ecosystems to thrive an
 d regenerate in perpetuity\, and repairs the effects of ongoing ecocide to
  prevent extinction of human and all species\, in order to maintain a liva
