 armer weather we are ready to resume our Sitting for Survival outside\, me
 ditating in public spaces to bear witness to our current climate emergency
  and in doing so\, strive to awaken others to see and take action.\n\n**Wh

 n\n**When**: Sunday\, June 6\, 11:30am-12:30pm\n\nWe will sit distanced wi
 th signs that we will provide or you can bring your own. Please come maske
 d.\n\n-----\n\nWho We Are: We are spiritual practitioners dedicated to fac
 ing the climate crisis with compassion and determination to engage in nonv
 iolent direct action. We see climate justice within the framework of socia
 l justice and commit to advocating for policies that empower communities m
 ost impacted by climate change.\n\nWhat We Do: We invoke our mindfulness p
 ractice to hold the pain of this ecological and spiritual crisis. We bring
  silent sitting and walking meditation to public spaces to raise awareness
  to the devastating effects of our planetary emergency and the urgent need
  to take personal and collective action.\n\nRecognizing the need for regen
 eration in this consuming effort\, we invite pauses to be in community\, t
 o care for one another and nourish ourselves\, bringing the energy of love
  and understanding to sustain this demanding effort.\n\nDuring the pandemi
 c\, we have been working towards our goals through virtual gatherings. As 
 the days get warmer\, we are now doing a combination of outdoor protest an
