 t with the urgency that the truth demands.\n\nOn April 17th at noon\, XR B
 oston begins its non-violent uprising against the long-standing criminal i
 naction on our planet's ecological breakdown. Our governments and the medi
 a have failed to tell the truth about the climate crisis and local environ
 mental emergencies\, and failed to communicate the need for drastic action
  in order to save life on our planet. \n\nWe will gather at the site of th
 e Boston Massacre at noon and demand truth from media sites in downtown Bo
 ston\, urging them to help us bring about the transformational change need
 ed to face the ecological crisis. We will then take publicly disruptive\, 
 non-violent action to declare what we know to be true\, and upend the repr
 essive silence around the climate emergency. \n\n###PLEASE BRING BELLS\nIf
  you have any\, please bring bells or chimes so that we can sound the alar
 m together and summon our communities into action. Bells have a multiplici
 ty of meanings across cultural and spiritual traditions. We invite you to 
 share those as they relate to our planetary crisis on this event page (or
