 e our Sitting for Survival outside\, meditating in public spaces to bear w
 itness to our current climate emergency and in doing so\, strive to awaken

 0am-12:30pm\n\nWe will sit distanced with signs that we will provide or yo
 u can bring your own. Please come masked.\n\n-----\n\nWho We Are: We are s
 piritual practitioners dedicated to facing the climate crisis with compass
 ion and determination to engage in nonviolent direct action. We see climat
 e justice within the framework of social justice and commit to advocating 
 for policies that empower communities most impacted by climate change.\n\n
 What We Do: We invoke our mindfulness practice to hold the pain of this ec
 ological and spiritual crisis. We bring silent sitting and walking meditat
 ion to public spaces to raise awareness to the devastating effects of our 
 planetary emergency and the urgent need to take personal and collective ac
 tion.\n\nRecognizing the need for regeneration in this consuming effort\, 
 we invite pauses to be in community\, to care for one another and nourish 
 ourselves\, bringing the energy of love and understanding to sustain this 
 demanding effort.\n\nDuring the pandemic\, we have been working towards ou
 r goals through virtual gatherings. As the days get warmer\, we are now do
 ing a combination of outdoor protest and virtual regenerative practice.\n\
