 e divided when oppression goes unaddressed\, offering practical tools to h
 eal these divisions which affect our relationships as activists.\n\nThis w
 orkshop will address the importance of understanding the structural nature
  of oppressions (such as racism\, sexism\, classism\, ableism\, the oppres
 sion of young people\, ...)\, as well as doing personal healing work – b
 oth of which are necessary if we are to work together effectively in a uni
 ted movement.\n\n\n2-5pm EST\n\nLOGISTICS:\nThis workshop is interactive s
 o it's useful if each participant can log in on a separate device\, and ha
 s their video switched on. Note that logging in using a mobile phone is le
 ss than ideal because they don't tend to allow you to use gallery view whe
 re you can see everyone in the group at the same time.\n\nPlaces are limit
 ed so it would be helpful if you only register if you know you will be abl
 e to attend\, and cancel your ticket if you realise that you can't make it
 . We've experienced large numbers of people registering for this workshop 
 and not turning up\, this prevents others from registering and attending b
 ecause the workshop is sold out. So we ask you to only register if you can
  attend\, and cancel your ticket if you find you can't make it.\n\nWe will
  start at 2pm prompt. Please arrive from 1:45pm so that we can help you wi
 th any issues you might have with Zoom.\n\nEntry to the workshop will clos
 e shortly after 2pm (this is because of the structure of the workshop and 
 group work)\n\nBecause we will be breaking out into pairs for timed 'liste
 ning exchanges' it will be very helpful if you can bring a timer to the wo
 rkshop\, e.g. you can use the timer app on a mobile phone (use a spare mob
 ile if you are using your mobile for the Zoom call).\n\nWhen you register
