 9/\n\nEmbodied Antiracism is a practice that addresses the trauma of racis
 m. We engage in this practice because the climate crisis is a trauma infli
 cted on all beings by White supremacy. White people make up 20% of the wor
 ld population\, yet the White governments of the US\, Canada\, Australia\,
  and Europe are responsible for 61% of global carbon emissions. \n\nWhite-
 body supremacy culture inflicts trauma and stress in our daily lives. Trau
 ma and stress is a lived and felt experience. It is stored and easily accu
 mulates in our bodies. It is passed on genetically\, biochemically\, and c
 ulturally between people and generations. While a cognitive understanding 
 of antiracism is necessary\, that alone will not be effective in overcomin
 g White-body supremacy. In order to act in an antiracist way and to be tru
 ly supportive of Black\, Indigenous and People of Color\, we must have pra
 ctices to heal from trauma and to unlearn embedded\, often unconscious\, r
 acist culturally conditioned behaviors. \n\nEvery week\, in a shame and bl
 ame-free setting\, we examine in this group how trauma and racialized beha
 viors show up for each of us personally. Participants learn tools and buil
 d capacity to emotionally support BIPOC people under attack by White supre
 macy and environmental racism. Anyone in XR is welcome to join\, but the c
 ontent and facilitation are tailored for White people engaging in cultural
  self-examination and emotional labor. We practice here to center the need
 s of BIPOC people in our activism.\n\nRun time 830-10pm
