 ncy everywhere! Including Newburyport!\n\nWe are holding a shoes strike in
  Newburyport in alignment with other XR shoes actions on the same day and 
 the Fridays for Future shoe strikes. The shoes symbolize our presence in l
 arge numbers to call for climate action\, including even people who cannot
  attend in person for reasons of COVID safety. We are going to be coivd-sa
 fe and highly visible in the waterfront area of Newburyport #ShoeStrike30A
 ug\n\nThis is the first action of Emergency Everywhere campaign to pressur
 e the Town of Newburyport to start actively telling the truth about the cr

 ocated at 1 Market Square. \n\nLOGISTICS: We want 50+ pairs of shoes! Plea
 se wear your face mask\, respect the need for physical distancing\, bring 
 a cell phone (to take photos)\, lots of pairs of shoes\, and your sign/mes
 sage.\n\nALTERNATIVE WAYS TO PARTICIPATE\n1: Drop off as many pairs of sho
 es as you wish at 11:45 AM on Sunday\, August 30th... and pick them back u
 p at 1245 PM\n2: Set up your sign and your shoes\, take a photo of your in
