 ncluding Newburyport!\n\nWe are holding a shoe strike in Newburyport in al
 ignment with other XR shoes actions this week and the Fridays for Future s
 hoe strikes. The shoes symbolize our presence in large numbers to call for
  climate action\, including even people who cannot attend in person for re
 asons of COVID safety. We are going to be COVID-safe and highly visible at
  the Intermodal Parking Garage in Newburyport #ShoeStrike2Sept\n\nThis is 
 the first action of Emergency Everywhere campaign to pressure the Town of 
 Newburyport to start actively telling the truth about the crisis. You can

  2020\n\nLOGISTICS: We want 50+ pairs of shoes! Please wear your face mask
 \, respect the need for physical distancing\, bring a cell phone (to take 
 photos)\, lots of pairs of shoes\, and your sign/message.\n\nALTERNATIVE W
 AYS TO PARTICIPATE 1: Drop off as many pairs of shoes as you wish at 11:45
  AM on Tuesday\, September 1st... and pick them back up at 1:15 PM 2: Set 
 up your sign and your shoes\, take a photo of your individual action\, pos
