  current pandemic has put what feels like everything on hold\; which has u
 s feeling a range of emotions that can be hard to deal with alone. We want
  to create a space to listen and share our feeling with one another in thi
 s stressful time. Peer support is a widely-used\, effective methodology to
  deal with such stresses. Our goal is to find clarity\, comfort\, and conn
 ectedness during this crisis. This peer support call we will practice taki
 ng timed\, uninterrupted turns listening to each other with encouragement 
 to honestly express our feelings. Hopefully this becomes a tool that you c
 an use with others in the future\, when things get stressful.\n\nWe will m
 eet on four consecutive Tuesdays\, March 24\, 31\, April 7 and 14. You are
  welcome to attend any one or more sessions. After a general introduction 
 on the first evening\, we will cover specific topics depending on the inte
 rest of the group\, e.g. feeling good about ourselves\, dealing with terro
 r and discouragement\, overcoming personal barriers\, eliminating our inev
 itable racism\, sexism\, and other oppressive habits\, etc.\n\nThis meetin
 g will be facilitated by Jim who is a part of the DC chapter Regen Working
  Group\; he is a life-long social change activist\, he taught Organization
 al Psychology at MIT's Sloan School of Management. He has been leading pee
 r support groups for social change activists for decades\, most recently i
 n the climate movement since 2011.\n\nThis session will run from 8:00 PM 9
 :30 PM
