 e current pandemic has put what feels like everything on hold\; which has 
 us feeling a range of emotions that can be hard to deal with alone. We wan
 t to create a space to listen and share our feeling with one another in th
 is stressful time. Peer support is a widely-used\, effective methodology t
 o deal with such stresses. Our goal is to find clarity\, comfort\, and con
 nectedness during this crisis. This peer support call we will practice tak
 ing timed\, uninterrupted turns listening to each other with encouragement
  to honestly express our feelings. Hopefully this becomes a tool that you 
 can use with others in the future\, when things get stressful.\n\nWe will 
 meet on four consecutive Tuesdays\, March 24\, 31\, April 7 and 14. You ar
 e welcome to attend any one or more sessions. After a general introduction
  on the first evening\, we will cover specific topics depending on the int
 erest of the group\, e.g. feeling good about ourselves\, dealing with terr
 or and discouragement\, overcoming personal barriers\, eliminating our ine
 vitable racism\, sexism\, and other oppressive habits\, etc.\n\nThis meeti
 ng will be facilitated by Jim who is a part of the DC chapter Regen Workin
 g Group\; he is a life-long social change activist\, he taught Organizatio
 nal Psychology at MIT's Sloan School of Management. He has been leading pe
 er support groups for social change activists for decades\, most recently 
 in the climate movement since 2011.\n\nThis session will run from 8:00 PM 
 9:30 PM
