 lease join us to mourn the sixth mass extinction and impending loss of Goo
 d Harbor Beach as a habitat and as a place of pleasure and beauty. Over th
 e next 50-100 years nearly ALL of the worlds beaches will be irreparably c
 hanged and most likely destroyed by rising sea levels. Much of the coral a
 nd sea life in our planet's oceans face a similar fate. Climate change is 
 a primary cause of extinction and threat to ocean and coastal health.\n\nW
 e will meet at a private home in Gloucester (half a block from Gloucester 
 stop on commuter rail) at 10:30am to organize our procession and depart fo
 r the beach at around 11:30. Dress in black (formal if you can manage it) 
 unless you are with the Buddhist contingent\, who will dress in robes.\n\n
 We will sing and have signage concerning the sixth mass extinction\, damag
 e to ocean life\, as well as the\ngeneral climate emergency. \n\nIn case o
 f rain\, we will process through a local mall - meeting initially at the s
 ame spot.\n\nRSVP below to coordinate and for info on the meeting spot. (I
 f you signed up recently you will receive an email with logistical details
  on Saturday 8/3 by 1pm. If you sign up after that time you will get an em
 ail before 8am on Sunday morning with the same).
