 de! \n\nWe are going to meet at Wellesley High School's Hunnewell Field an
 d march to town hall - while maintaining social distance and requiring mas
 ks.  Safety is a priority for us and we aim to make this event comfortable
  for children all the way on up to attend.\n\nThe Town of Wellesley is vot
 ing on a resolution in late October that would  incorporate the climate cr
 isis in their annual reporting and decision making. So we are throwing a f
 uneral parade to remind them what's at stake here. The current droughts af
 fecting Wellesley\, increases in lyme disease-bearing insects\, and shorte
 ning ski season are a small fraction of what is to come. On a dead planet 
 there is no economy. Federal finance agencies continue to release reports 
 like [the one this month](https://www.cftc.gov/About/AdvisoryCommittees/Ma
 rketRiskAdvisory/MRAC_Reports.html) with the headline "Climate change pose
 s a major risk to the stability of the U.S. financial system and to its ab
 ility to sustain the American economy."\n\nWe encourage you to wear black
