  of the climate emergency and what Wellesley can do about it. We will be s
 pray chalking slogans on boards and distributing stickers with our coaliti
 on of Wellesley organizations as part of our Emergency Everywhere campaign
 .\n\nThe Town of Wellesley is voting on a resolution in late October that 
 would incorporate the climate crisis in their annual reporting and decisio
 n making. The current droughts affecting Wellesley\, increases in lyme dis
 ease-bearing insects\, and shortening ski season are a small fraction of w
 hat is to come. On a dead planet there is no economy. Federal finance agen
 cies continue to release reports like the one this month with the headline
  "Climate change poses a major risk to the stability of the U.S. financial
  system and to its ability to sustain the American economy."\n\nOur main a

 ut this event.\n\nWe will maintain social distance and wear masks through
