 est is on fire. The skies are ablaze in red. US cities are ranking worst i
 n the world for air quality ratings. People are evacuating or confined ind
 oors for safety. And as the forests go up in flames\, destroying critical 
 ecosystems\, they also release carbon - creating a feedback loop of even m
 ore warming and fires.\n\nThis is 2 degrees F of warming and we are headed
  to 8 degrees if we don't act now. The climate crisis is here. This is an 
 emergency. We need to stop asking what is politically feasible for climate
  action. We need to make the maximum emissions reductions every year.\n\nT
 his is the moment for us to step up as one and demand action.\n\nJoin Exti
 nction Rebellion for a march from the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade up to t
 he State House. We are calling on the state of Massachusetts to declare a 
 formal climate emergency. We will be wearing masks and maintaining social 
 distance. We encourage people to wear red and bring their own signs - thou
 gh we will have some flags and signs for people to carry.\n\nMeet at 2pm\,
  ending around 4pm.
