 e the opportunity to form an affinity group\, which is your creative team 
 and support system for Extinction Rebellion actions. Bring people who you 
 would like to form an affinity group with! You can also make one with fell
 ow rebels that you meet while you're here.\n\n### Event logistics\n\nTime:
  November 9\, 10AM - 3PM . Please arrive at 9:50pm to give yourself time t
 o settle before the training begins\, and please plan to stay the entire t

 ## Beforehand\n\nWe recommend that you attend an 'Heading for Extinction' 
 talk before you attend our NVDA training. You can find these events on our
  [calendar](https://xrmass.org/action#calendar). We recommend these becaus
 e understanding the climate science and more about XR will help you figure
  out how you'd like to be involved. \n\nIf you cannot attend a talk\, you 
 are still welcome to attend the training. Instead of the in-person events\
 , you may want to watch a version of the Heading for Extinction talk onlin
 e (e.g. [here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n__y1FXK_jE)). \n\n### What
  to bring\n\n- wear comfortable clothes\n\n- your own plate\, cup\, and cu
 tlery to minimize waste. We will provide snacks and drinks during a short 
 break -- no disposable plastic water bottles please!\n\n- if you have them
 \, people who you would like to form an affinity group with. Don't worry i
 f you can't\, there will be amazing fellow rebels for you to build communi
 ty with at the training! \n\n- this training is free. If you would like to
  and can bring a contribution\, we will collect cash donations to cover ou
