Davis Square Die-In

JOIN US for an exciting DIE-IN in Davis Square, Somerville on July 25TH at 6pm. We will DIE symbolically in homage to all the people and other species dying as a result of CLIMATE CHANGE, sing and chant to live music, make short speeches, and otherwise make NOISE and GET THE WORD OUT that Extinction Rebellion demands ACTION NOW.

Our planet is ON FIRE. Our neighborhoods are experiencing RECORD HEAT WAVES while the Trump administration dismantles already inadequate environmental protections, HARMING OUR CHILDREN and opening our natural preserves to CORPORATE PLUNDER. Locally our governor CANNOT FIND THE COURAGE to stand up to the jet set class and gas executives to declare a moratorium on new fossil fuel projects.

We hope to have at least 50 people so BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
