Climate Emotions Circle

Saturday, Oct 04

Please join members of XR Boston and our Arlington community for an in-person sharing circle where we can connect and work with our climate grief and related emotions.  We are all experiencing so many losses because of the climate crisis and our leaders' refusal to address it: weather changes, illness, displacement, loss of livelihood, species extinction, irrevocable changes to beloved places. These losses are compounded by other rapid changes in our society right now.

How does grief show up in you?  Rage, bitterness, numbness, despair, physical reactions?  In this circle, we invite all to come, make this a safe space, and support each other in sharing and processing the emotions of loss.  This way, we can move through the feelings and be able to continue to work with love and hope to create community and positive change.

With simple prompts and gentle facilitation, we will move through reflection and sharing that will get us out of our heads and into our hearts and bodies, where grief and love reside.  This will be a 90-minutes sharing circle, open to all.

Sign-up is required, so we can plan adequately and contact you with an alternate meeting spot in inclement weather.

Feel free to bring an outside chair or blanket to sit on in the orchard.
